The first bell-ringing festival in Harvard
A group of students bell-ringers from Harvard University arrived in Moscow to study the art of bell-ringing. Dec 2007 — Jan 2008
A solemn Welcome Ceremony was held at St. Daniel’s Monastery in honour of the “Weekday” Bell’s arrival.
The first coming back bell of the historical St. Daniel’s set – was taken down from Harvard Business School library tower and replaced by a replica bell.

The Parties signed the historical Agreement on the Exchange of Bells and Return of the Original Bells to St. Daniel Monastery.
The delegation arrived with the purpose of examining and accepting the big bells wax patterns and the ready smaller bells.
The delegation was formed by the students interested in the history of church bells and Russian bell ringing tradition.
The delegation came to Harvard to discuss the possibility of returning St. Daniel’s bells to Russia.
